Rok Kogovšek completed his master's degree in laboratory medicine at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Ljubljana. After his internship, he joined the Laboratory of Clinical Biochemistry and Hematology at the University Clinic of Respiratory and Allergic Diseases Golnik, where he is currently undergoing specialist training. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Slovenian Association of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, Slovenian Chamber of Laboratory Medicine, and EFLM Young Scientists Working Group.

Tina Levstek completed her Master’s degree in Laboratory Biomedicine at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana. Following her internship at the Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana, she passed the state certification exam and continued her career as a young researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, Faculty of Medicine. Under the mentorship of Prof. Katarina Trebušak Podkrajšek, PhD, she successfully completed her PhD in Biomedicine.

She is currently employed at the Centre for Technologies of Gene and Cell Therapy (CTGCT), where her work focuses on the development, optimization, and validation of processes supporting gene and cell therapy technologies and translational research. In her complementary appointment at the Faculty of Medicine, she continues to investigate biomarkers in patients with Fabry disease.
