Rok Kogovšek completed his master's degree in laboratory medicine at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Ljubljana. After his internship, he joined the Laboratory of Clinical Biochemistry and Hematology at the University Clinic of Respiratory and Allergic Diseases Golnik, where he is currently undergoing specialist training. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Slovenian Association of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, Slovenian Chamber of Laboratory Medicine, and EFLM Young Scientists Working Group.

Tina Levstek completed her Master's degree in Laboratory Biomedicine at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Ljubljana. After completing her internship, she passed the professional exam and then joined the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics of the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana as a young researcher, where she is currently working as a researcher and teaching assistant. In addition, she is also employed at the Clinical Institute for Special Laboratory Diagnostics at the University Children's Hospital, University Medical Centre Ljubljana.
