Laboratory medicine is an extremely dynamic field. It is therefore crucial for professionals in this field to be aware of the importance of continuous education and training. I would like the journal Laboratorijska medicina to find its place in this field, especially by disseminating new findings and advances in the broader field of laboratory medicine. I would like the journal to a) be open to all areas of laboratory medicine, b) include everyone working in the field, regardless of whether they are established professionals or students, c) be up to date with current topics in the field, and d) be of interest to a broad readership. We therefore welcome your participation in developing the journal as well as any constructive comments or critical contributions you may have.
